The younger group went to a community farm and one of the highlights was petting and holding the baby goats (kids) and the baby chicks, too. The older group went fishing in hope to reel in some fish for dinner, and know what? Some campers did! Finally, for our last night at Aspen Camp, we connected with each other and within ourselves by watching the picture slideshow and the films the campers produced. We also would like to say thank you to the ACDHH board for letting us stay at the camp.  We will truly miss this place.   Before you scroll down for pictures, we want to give our camp cooks, Clint and David a handwaving and a signout for delicious meals and snacks as they truly kept us fed,

Some of us went swimming and rock climbing at the Aspen Recreation Center and a brave few campers went e-biking and explored the Glenwood Springs-Carbondale area. Back at the camp, we worked on our filming and it was really fun for us to get into our roles and characters then visualize what our films wanted to look like. Ruthie Jordan was a great mentor and facilitator for our campers :-)  Enjoy the pictures!

We went to Glenwood Springs Caverns Adventure Park. The amusement park originally started out as a local mountaintop cavern for exploring and enjoyment. It eventually transformed into a place with  low quantity-high quality ride type amusement park and if you ask us which ride was our favorite, the majority would say it was the alpine coaster!
